a. When visiting www.suplest.ch
When you visit our website, our servers temporarily save every access to a log file. We collect the following data without any effort on your part, which will be saved for up to twelve months before being deleted automatically:
– the accessing computer's IP address;
– the access date and time;
– the name and URL of the accessed file;
– the website, from which this file was accessed;
– your computer's operating system and the browser you have used;
– the country, from which you have accessed the file; and
This data is collected and processed in order to enable the use of our website (link connection), to ensure continued system security and stability and thus optimize our website, as well as for internal statistical purposes. The IP address will only be analyzed in the event of an attack against the network infrastructure of www.suplest.ch, as well as for statistical purposes. A part from the IP address the data mentioned above will generally not be linked to specific individuals and also not collected and combined with other personal data.
b. When registering for a customer login
In order to purchase products in our webshop and to be provided with other specific services, customers should register.
In order to facilitate the processing of your orders in the webshop or your service requests, we collect the following personal data when you register:
– Gender
– Firstname and Surname
– Address
– E-Mail Address
– Password
Customers can review and change their account information at any time. In addition, the consumer can request the complete deletion of his/her account.
c. When using the website as a registered customer
When a registered customer logs in and uses the website, we collect data for statistical reasons and in order to enable the seamless functioning of the portal. We collect the following data in particular:
– the type, frequency and intensity of the website use;
– the duration of your membership
d. When purchasing products in the webshop or requesting other services
If you want to purchase any products in our webshop, we need various data for the processing of the purchase contract. The following data must be mandatorily provided:
– First- and Surname
– Address / Delivery Address
– E-Mail-Address
– Payment information (depending on the chosen payment method)
– Login-Date (in case that you are registered)
Any additional information is voluntary. If you are a registered customer and have a cus-tomer-account, we store your data for the next purchase.
In connection with your orders in the webshop, the processing of such orders, and the provision of requested services, we collect, store and process, in addition to personal data already collected when you register for a retailer or consumer account or when you use the website as registered retailer or as consumer, the following data:
– Information regarding the ordered products;
– Information regarding the requested services;
– Data regarding your order, purchase and payment patterns;
Unless otherwise provided in this statement, we only use the respective data in order to perform the contract, namely in order to provide you with the services requested or in order to process your orders, deliver the ordered goods, provide after-sale services, and process and ensure the proper payment.
a. Newsletter/email marketing/online marketing
When subscribing to the newsletter, your email address will be used for our own promotional activities, subject to your agreement until you unsubscribe the newsletter. You can withdraw your subscription at any time. We are entitled to contract third parties for the technical handling of promotional activities and to forward your data for this purpose (see also paragraph 3).
You can unsubscribe from the suplest newsletter at any time using the unsubscribe link provided in each email. Alternatively you can unsubscribe from the suplest newsletter by using any contact provided on our website. If you unsubscribe we will delete your email address and any optional information in case provided. Please note that any data provided during the account registration or ordering process will not be deleted if you unsubscribe the suplest newsletter.
b. Re-Targeting
We reserve the right to use so called re-targeting technology. Thereby your user behaviour on our website will be analyzed, to provide you with promotional offers tailored to your individual needs also on our partner websites. Your user behaviour will be recorded under a pseudonym.
The re-targeting technologies are generally working with cookies (see below Section 8 for further information).
This website uses Google AdWords Remarketing and DoubleClick by Google, both services of Google Inc. ("Google") to provide advertisements that are based on the use of previously visited websites. Google uses a so-called DoubleClick cookie, which enables recognition of your browser when you visit other websites. The information generated by the cookie about visiting these websites (including your IP address) is transmitted to a Google server in the US and stored there (for the transfer of personal data to the US see section 9, Additional Information).
Google will use the above-mentioned information to evaluate your use of the website in order to compile reports on the website-activities and advertisements for the website operator and to provide further services relating to use of the website and the internet. Google may forward such information, where appropriate, to third parties, if required by law or where such third party processes such information on behalf of Google. c. Collection of Personality Profiles
In order to provide you with personalized services and promotional information on our website (on-site targeting), we will use and analyze the data collected when you access and use the website and when you purchase in the webshop. The analysis of your user and, in particular, purchase pattern may result in the collection of personality profiles. A personality profile is a collection of data that permits an assessment of essential characteristics of the personality of a natural person. Usage data is attributed to pseudonyms only, but never to non-pseudonymised personal data.
We will only disclose your personal data with your express consent, if required by law or if required in order to assert our rights and in particular claims resulting from the contractual relationship.
In addition, we will forward your data to third parties to the extent required for the use of the website and the contract performance, namely for the processing of your orders, for handling your purchases, for facilitating the delivery of purchases items and the payments, for the provision of requested services, and for the analyzing of your user, purchase, and payment patterns. Finally, we disclose your credit card information to your credit card acquirer and issuer in order to provide credit card payment options for your purchases in the webshop. If you choose to pay with credit card, you will be asked to enter mandatory information. Regarding the processing of your credit card information by those third parties, please also check the terms and conditions and data privacy statements of your credit card issuer.
In the case that we pay costs in advance (“Prepayment”), such as it is the case with a payment on account, we will request a credit risk assessment on the basis of mathematic-statistic calculations with a credit assessment agency in order to protect our legitimate interests. For this purpose we disclose the data necessary for such an assessment to an agency. We will use the information about the statistical probability of a payment default obtained by that agency for a balanced decision on the execution, performance or termi-nation of the contract with you. The credit risk assessment may include probability values (score values) that were calculated based on scientifically accepted mathematic-statistical methods. For the calculation of the score values your name and address are used amongst other data. Your legitimate interests will be taken into consideration pursuant to and to the extent required by the applicable laws.
