    Worldchampion Stefan Küng wins the individual pursuit title at the European Track Championships in Grenchen, Switzerland. Furthermore he broke the Swiss national, record over four kilometers. The time of 4:14,992 is the 7th fastest pursuit time in history!

    Stefan Küng takes the win of the 4th stage at the Tour de Romandie. He soloed to victory in Fribourg at the end of a rain-soaked fourth stage. Küng punched his way clear 25 kilometers before the finish.

    Tour de France. Stage 7. 234.5 km, which was the second longest stage of this years tour. Elmiger, current Swiss road champion managed to claim the title as the most competitive rider of the day. This means he will be wearing a red number, matching to the suplest shoes and the red Swiss champion jersey.
